The MarcEdit 7 Linux downloader is a self-contained installer utilizing the makeself command. When installing the Linux version of MarcEdit 7, the installer will extract the program into the same directory that you run the installer. Following extraction, the tool will run a script that will create a shortcut on your linux desktop that can then be used to run MarcEdit. If you want to specify a particular target directory, use the -target option when running marcedit7.run. For example:

The OpenVPN community project team is proud to release OpenVPN 2.5.4. This release include a number of fixes and small improvements. One of the fixes is to password prompting on windows console when stderr redirection is in use - this breaks 2.5.x on Win11/ARM, and might also break on Win11/amd64. Windows executable and libraries are now built natively on Windows using MSVC, not cross-compiled on Linux as with earlier 2.5 releases. Windows installers include updated OpenSSL and new OpenVPN GUI. The latter includes several improvements, the most important of which is the ability to import profiles from URLs where available. Installer version I602 fixes loading of pkcs11 files on Windows. Installer version I603 fixes a bug in the version number as seen by Windows (was 2.5..4, not 2.5.4). Installer I604 fixes some small Windows issues.

This is primarily a maintenance release with minor bugfixes and improvements, and one security relevant fix for the Windows Interactive Service. Windows installer includes updated OpenVPN GUI and OpenSSL. Installer I601 included tap-windows6 driver 9.22.1 which had one security fix and dropped Windows Vista support. However, in installer I602 we had to revert back to tap-windows 9.21.2 due to driver getting reject on freshly installed Windows 10 rev 1607 and later when Secure Boot was enabled. The failure was due to the new, more strict driver signing requirements. The 9.22.1 version of the driver is in the process of getting approved and signed by Microsoft and will be bundled in an upcoming Windows installer.

You can download Windows developments snapshots (MSI installers) from here (Index of /downloads/snapshots/github-actions/openvpn2/ ). Those are automatically built from commits to OpenVPN master branch and include functionality which will be available in the next release. Development snapshots are less stable than releases, so use at your own risk.

We provide downloads for the official client and server programs. A Linux distribution may provide their own packages and have their own maintainer, which we will describe below. We also link to some third party projects.

In particular, we are looking for people who want to try the most recent features before they are officially released. If you are interested download and subscribe to release candidates and development snapshots.

Important: Your device may get automatically removed from the beta program it is enrolled in and either get moved to the public release track or to another beta program track for the following reasons:

To help you plan ahead, below is a visual roadmap that captures Oracle Database Releases from 11.2 onward, showing the lifetime support stages (Premier, Extended) and the Error Correction windows for each release. Note, not all releases are eligible for Extended Support (i.e. 12.2.0.1, 18c).

Oracle is mindful of the unprecedented economic and business disruption our customers faced in 2020. We decided to not promote our Database 20c Preview version to General Availability. Instead, we incorporated all of the 20c functionality into the 21c release and made 21c available initially in our Autonomous Database Free Tier so that all can test drive the new features and enhancements for free.

Microsoft Loop has already been released to Microsoft 365 "commercial customers" using Teams, though Microsoft plans to update it over 2022 with new features. Touted by CEO Satya Nadella as "the next big breakthrough in Microsoft 365," Loop delivers little applications within Teams, letting users create notes, task lists and tables on the fly, which can be messaged to collaborative team members. Microsoft first described its plan to release subscription-based editions for its application server products in the fall of 2020. The idea is that customers install these servers on their own hardware, then pay Microsoft an annual or monthly subscription fee to use it. Since that initial announcement, Microsoft has released subscription editions of SharePoint Server and Project Server.

"To enable this support, we will be moving the IDE to run on the .NET 6 CLR (Common Language Runtime)," senior program manager Jordan Matthiesen was quoted as saying in this Visual Studio Magazine article about preview 3. "This is a major architectural change bringing with it improvements for all our users on both Intel and M1 processors. In our initial lab tests we're already seeing improvements in performance, with large solutions loading in half the amount of time it took in the v8.10 release." [BACK TO PRODUCT LIST]
